Hello! Welcome to Nelesc Designs. I am a Bronx Latina who sews, screenprints, loves God, and mothers two special needs kids. It's all good and it's all me. 

Here, you will find some of my DIY sewing tutorials, wardrobe refashions, Nelesc Designs shop news, and musings on special needs mothering. I enjoy color blocking and draping especially with sweatshirt and t-shirt material. 

My etsy shop at www.nelesc.etsy.com, features my second love, screenprinting. There, you will find slighty reconstructed t-shirts with cultural icons screenprinted on each. People inspire me, I hope this collection inspires you too. Soon, I hope to offer some of my clothing and accessory patterns/tutorials in my shop.

This whole sewing and crafting journey began with my children. Both of my boys have autism; I went from being a museum educator, cultural writer, and art teacher to creating fashion from home. I love it and I have never looked back.  This is their gift to me. Sewing, crafting, printing (and having the most amazing supportive husband in the world), help me be a better mom to my beautiful boys.
